With the Gradebook you may

Assign work and automatically publish instructions in student Assignment Folders, where students will then submit back to the Gradebook where you may view their work, mark comments, and assign grades. Grades assigned in the Gradebook automatically post in the Gradebook and in student Portfolios.

Record assignments for your own tracking purposes, and manually record associated grades, for instructions and student submissions posted elsewhere in WebTycho. An example of this would be Class Participation which you might explain in the Syllabus.

Manually record and revise student grades for as many classroom activities as you like. See Edit All Grades

Compute All Final Grades for all students.
